Commercial Hours

Portugal is a great place for a full shopping experience. From traditional shops and typical commerce, to high-street shops and luxury brands, Portugal has it all.

Shops, in the main commercial areas open from Monday to Friday from 09h00 to 19h00, closing for lunch between 13h00 and 14h30.

Saturdays, shops only open between 09h00 and 13h00 in most places in Portugal. However, in main shopping areas like Chiado in Lisbon or in the Algarve during the high season, shops will open during normal times: 09h00 to 19h00

Shopping centres spread throughout the country are open every day of the week (except the 1st of January and the 25th of December) from 10h00 to 23h00.
