Pinheiros Altos

Pinheiros Altos is a prestigious 27-hole championship course that borders the Ria Formosa Natural Park – a protected reserve that provides a habitat for many species of birds. The three groups of 9 holes include Pinheiros, named for the abundance of pine trees, Oliveiras which is played on a gently rolling landscape near meandering lakes and Sobreiros, which is the longest and most demanding of the three. Situated 30 minutes west of Faro, Pinheiros Altos is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape and has a proud reputation of being an essential golfing destination in the Algarve.

Quinta do Lago

Quinta do Lago features three magnificent golf courses situated on the edge of the stunning Ria Formosa Natural Park, designed in harmony with the natural environment. Visitors will enjoy a world class golfing experience, complemented by lush fairways and fast, true greens. Each course is memorable for its water features, bunkers and undulating landscapes, lined with umbrella pines and colourful heather plants. A computerised system uses humidity sensors to irrigate the courses efficiently with recycled water. Quinta do Lago has proudly hosted the Portuguese Open on eight occasions.

The North Course
The North Course boasts a flawless terrain and four magnificent par 5 holes. The natural woodland, undulating greens and well-positioned bunkers and hazards create an enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels.

The inspiring San Lorenzo Golf Course is one of the finest in Portugal. Vale do Lobo

The Vale do Lobo resort is home to two outstanding golf courses that complement each other perfectly. Situated 20 kilometres west of Faro, these courses offer magnificent views of the Atlantic and are lined with tall umbrella pines, figs, olives, orange and eucalyptus trees. Royal Golf Course
The Royal Course offers a challenging, dramatic game played along cliff tops. Surrounded by lakes and sand obstacles, the course is characterised by its long holes and undulating fairways.
