Óbidos

Location: Leaving Lisbon through the A8 to Torres Vedras, take the IC1 following to Óbidos and continue to Peniche by the EN114. At Serra d'El Rei turn right, when you find the sign of the course.

The design of the Golf Course at Praia D’El Rey was conceived and executed by the American golf course architect Cabell Robinson and combines dramatic sea views in amongst cliffs, sand dunes and pine woods.
The course has a length of 6.625 metres, par 72 and suits all levels of golfing ability from high handicappers to international tournament players. Recently Praia D’El Rey held the "Battle of the Sexes" tournament between the Seniors PGA Tour and the Women’s Professional Golf European Tour. This tournament will be repeated in November of each year. The focal point of the existing leisure facilities is the 18-hole championship golf course that has been designed in harmony with the beautiful landscape and provides a stimulating challenge for players of all levels.

The unique character of the landscape, rich in sand dunes, cliffs and pine forest, endows the golf course with a natural splendour that every golfer will enjoy.
