The design of the Golf Course at Praia D’El Rey was conceived and executed by the American golf course architect Cabell Robinson and combines dramatic sea views in amongst cliffs, sand dunes and pine woods.
The course has a length of 6.625 metres, par 72 and suits all levels of golfing ability from high handicappers to international tournament players. Recently Praia D’El Rey held the "Battle of the Sexes" tournament between the Seniors PGA Tour and the Women’s Professional Golf European Tour. This tournament will be repeated in November of each year.
The focal point of the existing leisure facilities is the 18-hole championship golf course that has been designed in harmony with the beautiful landscape and provides a stimulating challenge for players of all levels.
