The Montebelo is a mountain course, located in majestic landscape between the Serra da Estrela and the Serra do Caramulo.
Opened since 1997 and running through 200 hectares, the Golf de Montebelo is set in a unique landscape, between pines and oaks, with exceptional views.

The course layout and the holes design have been conceived attending the relationship between the dimension and the land morphology where these are inserted, and the result has been to make the best of the course's landscape qualities. Several specialists have compared it to Gleneagles in Scotland, and to Woburn in England.

This 18-hole, par-72 championship course, measures 6.317 metres, with fairways and greens seeded with gorse and heather.
With different characteristics, the Montebelo is divided in two courses, named after the region’s two landmarks: the Caramulo and the Estrela mountains. From the 1st to the 9th holes you find the Caramulo course and from the 10th to the 18th holes the Estrela Course.
